We interviewed several experienced high rise contractors for a complex project which involved the merger of two high rise condominium apartments at Villa d’ Este and the extensive renovations and construction required to create a contemporary, beautiful home. The Garretts were a godsend. My husband and I fell in love with a house that needed extensive remodeling and we didn’t have a clue what we were getting into. We met with Christopher and Nicole to share our vision with them of what we wanted the final product to look like. They took that vision and turned it into our dream house. Garrett Custom Homes provides a superior level of service. We were in the middle of our remodel when a dog I was fostering became anxious during a thunderstorm and broke out of her crate in the study. She destroyed several sets of plantation shutters, the trim around the shutters, the door and trim. It looked like a tornado had gone through the study. I texted Nicole Garrett at 8pm on a Wednesday and asked for help. I needed to have the room fixed immediately since the study was my husband’s office and he was away on a trip. Nicole Garrett jumped into action the next day. Nicole Garrett had a team of contractors working the repair (she facilitated all of the contractors working the remodel and study “repair”) and within days had the shutters repaired and a door replacement on order. 8 days after I contacted Garrett Custom Homes, you could not tell there was any damage to the study.
As our remodel continued, both Christopher and Nicole Garrett continued to be first class with their responsiveness and assistance. One night I arrived home after work and the house was unusually warm for the summer. The air conditioning was not working. I checked the breakers and there was nothing wrong. I didn’t know what else to do so I called Christopher Garrett. At 9pm, Christopher Garrett came over to our house. He made several calls and began troubleshooting the problem. Within minutes, the air conditioning was back on and working. Christopher still waited with me for an hour to make sure the air conditioning was properly functioning.
I can endorse Garrett Custom Homes without reservation for any major or minor remodel or renovation.

All I can say is thank goodness! The day we met them I knew everything was going to be OK. Garrett Custom Homes sat with us for several hours the first few days and discussed rebuilding plans and ideas, budget’s, and time lines. They had so many great ideas and were willing to work with us within our budget of what the insurance company was going to reimburse us for the flood damage. Garrett Custom Homes whole team is as impressive as the owners themselves. The carpenters, electricians, wood floor guys, plumbers, tile and granite people, each of them is amazing. However, the cabinet maker and the painter…WOW…is all I can say. Their work is total perfection! One of the main things I was so impressed with, besides their beautiful remodel work, is that Garrett Custom Homes had us set up on a calendar system to keep us updated on what would be happening every week of each month. They totally stuck to that calendar system throughout the whole job. We were back in our house in 9 months and that truly was a miracle! We love our new house so much and would never have made it thru such a difficult time without Garrett Custom Homes helping us every step of the way.
